Welcome to Day 10 of the MADE FOR MORE podcast! I’m Jacqui. Did you know God has given you unique gifts and talents to glorify Him and bless others? Today, we’ll explore how to discover and use them to walk in your purpose. Let’s get started!
Scripture
Let’s start today with a powerful scripture from “1 Peter 4:10. Each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others, as faithful stewards of God’s grace in its various forms”Reflection
1 Peter 4:10 encourages us to recognize our gifts as something entrusted to us by God, not just for personal use but for the benefit of others. The verse speaks to the concept of stewardship, meaning that we are
responsible for how we use the gifts we’ve received. Whether it’s artistic talent, teaching ability, or any other gift, it’s meant to be shared and used in service to others. This verse invites you to reflect on how you can use your talents to honour God and bless others. It challenges the idea of viewing your gifts as a tool to serve the needs and hearts of others.
Take a moment to think about how God has designed your life with purpose. Do you know that you have gifts and need to use it to bless others? How does this truth shape the way you see yourself today? For me: I noticed the Lord started to use my gifts to help others, it started out, in me just being creative, but He was actually using that to restore me. It gives me so much joy to be able to use what He gave me to encourage others. Currently He is using me in restoration through art as well as igniting gifts and prophetic. I am also using my gifts in GlobalWorshipRadio.com.
Application: Serve others with your gifts
Now, let’s talk about how to apply this truth to your life. Our gifts as something entrusted to us by God.We are responsible for how we use the gifts we’ve received. Whether it’s artistic talent, teaching ability or any other gift, it’s meant to be shared and used in service to others. Reflect on how you can use your talents to honour God and bless others.
Prayer: Let’s pray together.
Lord, Thank You for the gifts You’ve placed in my life. Thank You for the creativity and passionYou’ve given me. I ask thatYou help me to use these gifts not for my own glory but to serve others, to share Your love, and to bring hope to those who need it. Guide me in being a faithful steward of what You’ve entrusted to me. May I always remember that my talents are not just for me but for the good of others.
