Discover the heart behind Global Worship Radio -how a simple idea became a global movement connecting young people to Jesus through prayer, word, and worship.
Most Christian radio stations today aren’t designed to serve young people. It’s not that they don’t welcome them, but they are simply not the primary audience. This creates a gap when it comes to reaching the next generation.
Research shows that most people who come to faith in Jesus do so before the age of 18. At the same time, only about 11% of Gen Z attend church regularly, while more than 95% are active on social media.
This presents a powerful opportunity to meet young people where they already are.
Platforms like YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok influence how young people think, discover music, and shape their values. Global Worship Radio exists to step into that space and connect them to faith through worship.
Global Worship Radio was launched in 2021 during the pandemic. Nigel Santos from the Philippines and Chaz Lowder from the United States began discussing worship music through a podcast, and that simple conversation grew into a global vision.
Today, Global Worship Radio reaches listeners in over 40 countries. Through platforms like WhatsApp, people from different backgrounds connect, share encouragement, and grow in their faith together.
Our team is made up of volunteers from all walks of life, including creatives, engineers, teachers, and missionaries. What unites us is a shared passion for one mission: connecting people to Jesus.
Through prayer, the Word, and worship, we are committed to offering young people something real. We believe in sharing hope, joy, and truth in a way that speaks directly to their everyday lives.
