Global Worship and Consumed By Fire

Why Momentum Matters to Our Ministry

We are excited to attend the Momentum Radio Conference again this May, one of the premier training and connection events for Christian radio and media leaders.

This conference is not just about learning technical radio skills. It is about sharpening our ability to share Jesus with the world through the powerful tools of music, storytelling, and encouragement.

Our Story: How Music Brought Us Back to God

As many of you know, we are proud residents of Brainerd. Debbie grew up here, while Ross is from Virginia Beach. Both of us grew up in church but eventually drifted away. God used something unexpected to draw us back: music. Worship songs began breaking through places in our hearts that nothing else could reach. That transformation led us to the grand opening of Risen Church in September 2022, where we found our spiritual home.

Because music played such a powerful role in bringing us back to God, we started Worship Warriors MN, a concert community that connects people to life changing Christian events. Then in October 2024 we connected with Chaz Lowder and Global Worship Radio. After prayer, we said yes to serving with this global ministry.

Debbie now serves as Promotional and Listener Engagement Director, and Ross serves on the production team and has been assigned as Production Lead.

The Mission of Global Worship Radio

Global Worship Radio exists to do something simple but world changing: connect people from around the globe to Jesus.

Our station is actively working to expand into more countries and add more languages so more people can hear worship and encouragement in a way that feels like home. With internet access reaching so many places, Christian radio is no longer limited to one city or state. It can reach across continents, into remote villages, struggling communities, and even places where the gospel is difficult to access.

Momentum equips us to do this work with excellence.

The Fruit From Last Year’s Conference

Last year’s Momentum was not just inspiring. It produced real fruit.

We formed meaningful friendships that have deeply impacted our ministry, including author Julie West, who wrote Exiting Egypt. Julie shares the same rare genetic disorder as Debbie, and her book is now part of a Bible study we are leading at church. We also connected with Colleen, a station manager in Virginia Beach. While visiting Ross’s family we were able to tour her station and strengthen a relationship that continues to encourage and sharpen our ministry.

Momentum also opened doors that led to interviews with artists such as: Jon Reddick, Cade Thompson, Jason Gray, Consumed By Fire, Colton Dixon, Sean Rodriguez and Megan Woods.

We also built relationships with record labels and ministry partners, including one that allowed us to meet Peter Burton.

Expanding Outreach Through Concerts

Through connections at Momentum we were introduced to a representative from TPR, the production company behind many major Christian concerts. This led to opportunities to host engagement booths at concerts featuring artists like Zach Williams, Crowder, Elevation Worship, and an upcoming Brandon Lake concert.

At these events we are able to:

• hand out Bibles
• pray with people
• ask Bible trivia questions
• invite attendees to share their testimonies

Sharing the Gospel

Why We Are Returning to Momentum

Attending Momentum Conference again this year is an important step in continuing to grow the impact of Global Worship Radio.

Momentum brings together Christian radio leaders, artists, managers, and record labels from across the country. Being there allows us to build meaningful relationships that help expand the reach of Global Worship Radio so even more people around the world can encounter the hope of Jesus through worship. Ross will also have the opportunity to learn directly from experienced production leaders, gaining new skills, fresh ideas, and leadership insight that will strengthen the quality and creativity of our station. Just as meaningful is the opportunity to reconnect with our Global Worship teammates who serve from many different countries. These relationships remind us that this mission is bigger than one station—it’s a global family working together to share the message of Jesus through worship.

Your support helps make this possible. By helping send us to Momentum, you are investing in the growth, relationships, and future impact of Global Worship Radio.

How You Can Partner With Us

To make this opportunity possible, we are raising support to cover conference and travel expenses. Global Worship Radio is contributing what they can, and we are trusting God to provide the remaining amount through prayer and the generosity of those who believe in this mission. Every gift helps equip us with training, relationships, and wisdom that strengthen Global Worship Radio and expand our ability to reach people around the world with the hope of Jesus.

If you feel led to support us, your gift is an investment in ministry that reaches far beyond us. It reaches the world.

Final Section

We are deeply grateful for your prayers, encouragement, and support. We have personally seen God use music to bring people back from hopelessness, including our own story.

Acts 1:8 reminds us that we are called to be witnesses in Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and to the ends of the earth. Global Worship Radio allows us to live out that calling by carrying the message of Jesus to the ends of the earth one song and one story at a time.

Thank you for being part of this journey with us.

With love and gratitude,

Ross and Deborah Moerschell
