What is God speaking to you in this season?

How do you keep your Sunday faith when Monday comes?

When I think about Paul, I see a man whose faith was evident in every moment of his life. So how do we
keep the faith – a sincere, passionate, vibrant faith that endures?

• It starts with being intentional in our walk with Jesus.
• Keep your focus on Jesus, on who He is, not only on what He can do for you.
• Seek to know Him in every decision and every moment of your day.
• Stay grounded in His Word and stand on His promises.
• For me, worship music is one of the ways I stay connected to Jesus and keep my heart focused on Him.

Imagine a flame burning brightly. That flame represents our faith.

When challenges come, when life gets busy, or when we face depression, anxiety, fear, and other
distractions, the flame can begin to dim. The enemy would love nothing more than to pull our focus
away from Jesus. But God’s desire is for that flame to keep burning brightly. One of the ways we keep
the flame alive is through community and healthy relationships. Faith thrives in community. When we
share what God has done and what He is currently doing in our lives, we encourage one another and
strengthen our faith. Your testimony is worth sharing.

Testimony

Every year I have to trust the Lord to provide for me to travel to the United States and be part of our
Global Ministry. There is no way I can do this in my own strength. As a missionary, I do not have an
income, so I depend completely on God’s wisdom, protection, provision, peace, and joy and guidance.
This year, my faith was stretched. The waiting was not easy. It would have been easier to give up, stay
home, and take the situation into my own hands. But I knew it was important to remain obedient and
step out in faith. Throughout the process, I remained in prayer and stood on God’s promises. In the end,
He provided, but not in the way I expected, and only two weeks before I was due to leave. Looking back, I
can see that God was building endurance in me. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it.

I want to encourage you today: keep moving forward in obedience. Don’t give up. Stay focused and be
intentional in every moment. Surrender your plans into God’s hands. He knows better than we do, and
His timing is always perfect.

Prayer

Father, thank You for Your love, Your faithfulness, and Your heart for us. Thank You for building
endurance in us so that we do not give up, especially when we face challenges.
Help us not to become distracted, but to keep our eyes fixed on You. Help us to burn passionately for
You and to endure faithfully in our walk with You. Forgive us for the moments when we lose our focus or
drift from Your presence. Draw us back to You and strengthen our faith. We love You, Lord.
I pray this in the mighty name of Jesus. Amen.
